1ļøā£ What we want you to know We are continuing to receive reports of illegal eābikes being ridden on Birch Meadow. These bikes are not roadālegal and are not permitted on public footpaths or green spaces. Residents will remember that last year a child was injured in an incident involving an e-vehicle in this area. This highlights the very real dangers these bikes pose to pedestrians, dog walkers and children playing. Officers are actively patrolling as part of our local antiāsocial behaviour priority, in line with the NPCC national focus on tackling ASB. Under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act, officers have the power to seize vehicles being used in an antiāsocial manner, and this can be done without warning. 2ļøā£ How we want you to feel We want residents to feel reassured that we take these concerns seriously and are committed to keeping Birch Meadow safe, calm and enjoyable for everyone. Reckless riding will not be tolerated. 3ļøā£ What we want you to do If you see illegal eābikes being ridden in a way that causes alarm, distress or danger, please report it. Your information helps us target patrols and take action. š Report concerns via www.neighbourhoodmatters.co.uk Your Safer Neighbourhood Team will continue to work with the community to prevent harm and tackle antiāsocial behaviour.
